Wrapped In Gray
Intro |

|
"Wrapped
in Gray" was published by Upset Publishing in September of 2002.
A favorite of rebellious college students and disgruntled idealists
in and around the Pacific Northwest, the book may go down in the annals
of publishing history as a minor cult classic. Or not. Only time will
tell. The luxury of having almost complete control over the final
version of the book, as well as being able to talk books with so many
people on a one-to-one basis, may end up just as rewarding as having
a bestseller.
I'll let you know when I have one.
Here then is a brief synopsis of... "Wrapped in Gray".
What drives a person to take matters of large social and political
significance into their own hands?
Jonah Keevers is a grocery store security guard who finds himself
on the wrong side of the law following a tragic accident. True to
his unconventional nature, he forgoes the normal course of justice
and instead finds himself joined with Anna, a radically fundamental
college student with staunch ideologies and a penchant for petty crime,
and her lover Renee. Capitalizing on his sudden infamy, they embark
on a roller coaster ride of political misdemeanors and pranks, culminating
in a showdown that forces Jonah to decide whether he'll continue to
live a socially disconnected life in black or white, or embrace a
society "wrapped in gray".
